Running VCam.ai smoothly and efficiently requires specific software and hardware configurations. To help you get the best experience from our app, we've outlined the necessary system requirements below.


Software Requirements


To run VCam.ai, your computer needs to have the following:

  • Windows 10/11 64-bit or macOS Ventura or higher Operating System
  • **Graphics drivers from Intel, AMD or NVIDIA ** updated to their latest versions.


Windows on ARM (WoA) is not supported.


Hardware Requirements


The hardware prerequisites for VCam.ai depend on whether you're using a desktop or laptop computer, and they also vary based on the level of Camera video quality you desire (Standard, High, or Highest).


For Desktops


Standard Quality

  • 4th generation Intel i5 CPU or Ryzen 5 (2nd Gen+) (CPU acceleration), or
  • Intel HD 530+ / Nvidia GTX 850+ / AMD R260+ (GPU acceleration)


High Quality

  • 5th generation Intel i7 CPU or Ryzen 5-7 (3nd Gen+) (CPU acceleration), or
  • Intel HD 530+ / Nvidia GTX 950+ / AMD Radeon RX 460+ (GPU acceleration)


Highest Quality

  • 8th generation Intel i7 CPU or Ryzen 7 (3rd Gen+) (CPU acceleration), or
  • Intel UHD 630+ / Nvidia GTX 1060+ / AMD Radeon RX 580+ (GPU acceleration)


For Laptops


Standard Quality

  • 6th generation Intel i5 CPU or Ryzen 5 (3nd Gen+) (CPU acceleration), or
  • Intel HD 620+ / Nvidia MX150+ / AMD Radeon Graphics 3rd Gen+ (GPU acceleration)


High Quality

  • 6th generation Intel i7 CPU (CPU acceleration) Ryzen 7 (3nd Gen+) (CPU acceleration), or
  • Intel UHD 620+ / Nvidia GTX 950 or MX250+ / AMD Radeon RX Vega 8+ (GPU acceleration)


Highest Quality

  • Intel 10th i7-1065G7 (Intel IceLake) OR 8th gen Intel i7 (>= 30w TDP) (CPU acceleration), or
  • Intel Iris Plus Graphics G7+ / High end mobile Nvidia or AMD discrete GPU (GPU acceleration)


For Intel 6th gen + desktop machines with discrete GPU running games at the same time as VCam.ai, it is recommended to enable Intel HD graphics in BIOS and select HD graphics in Settings > Performance > Hardware Acceleration.
