# Using Your Phone Camera with VCam

If you need an alternative to a regular webcam, your phone camera can provide a clear and convenient solution. The setup involves minimal steps, letting you use your phone camera with VCam in minutes.

## Iriun Webcam for PC and Mac
Iriun Webcam provides a convenient way to use your phone as your VCam camera. It supports both iOS and Android on mobile, and offers matching desktop software for Windows or macOS. 

### 1. Install Iriun Webcam on Your Phone
Search for **Iriun Webcam** in your phone’s app store ( [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jacksoftw.webcam) or [Apple App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/iriun-webcam-for-pc-and-mac/id1439303579)). Download and open the app.

### 2. Install and Launch Iriun on Your Computer
**Go to [Iriun’s website](https://iriun.com)** to download the software for your operating system. Complete the installation and start the desktop app.
| Make sure your phone and computer share the same Wi-Fi network, or use a USB cable if available.

### 3. Select Iriun Webcam in VCam.ai
In VCam.ai, click on the Camera tab then choose **Iriun Webcam** as the Device from the drop-down.

If your camera feed isn't displayed properly after choosing Iriun Webcam, click the *Refresh *button.
