### Hardware Acceleration

Hardware Acceleration controls which processor VCam uses for video processing.

When **Automatic** is enabled, VCam selects the least-used compatible graphics processor.

To choose processors manually:

1. Disable **Automatic**.
2. Select a processor under **Primary**.
3. Select another available processor under **Secondary**.

The available choices depend on your computer. VCam supports CPUs, GPUs and compatible Intel NPUs.

| An Intel NPU is designed for efficient AI processing. Choosing it can move compatible work away from the CPU and GPU. This leaves more system capacity for your meeting app or other software.

### Calibration

Calibration optimizes VCam for your system. VCam runs this process when the app is installed or updated.

Select **Start Calibration** to run the process again.
