# GPU Settings

GPU settings control whether VCam prioritizes the discrete GPU. This can provide more consistent performance on systems with multiple GPUs.

### Force high-performance GPU

VCam uses the discrete GPU by default when multiple GPUs are available.

Disable **Force high-performance GPU** if you want your operating system to choose the GPU. It can choose between the integrated GPU and discrete GPU.

Restart VCam after changing this setting.
